The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the final results of the Civil Services Examination (CSE) 2024. Topping the prestigious list this year is Shakti Dubey, who secured All India Rank (AIR) 1 in the highly competitive examination.
The UPSC CSE is held in three stages — Prelims, Mains, and Interview — to recruit candidates for India's premier civil services such as the IAS, IPS, and IFS.
This year, 14,627 candidates qualified for the Mains held in September 2024.
Out of them, 2,845 advanced to the Interview round.
Finally, 1,009 candidates (725 men and 284 women) have been recommended for appointment.
