The examination fees are categorized by applicant type, with General and OBC candidates required to pay Rs 1,000 for one paper and Rs 1,200 for both papers. Conversely, the fee for SC, ST, and differently-abled candidates is set at Rs 500 for a single paper and Rs 600 for both papers.

The CTET, conducted bi-annually, serves as a gateway for candidates to validate their teaching proficiency. The previous session of the CTET in January 2024 witnessed a commendable turnout, with 84% of the 26,93,526 registered candidates attending the examination on January 21.
